Terry Allan Smith
I began playing when I was nine years old(a long time ago) when my grandmother taught me to play Little Brown Jug on the guitar and In The Mood on piano. That seems to have set my course in life as I began traveling around the country at eighteen, playing anywhere people would listen,(or not listen).
I joined with a fellow traveller in 1970 to form an acoustic duo called Morrison Smith......back on the road.
We played with greats and not so great. There was that one time as an opening act for Linda Rhondstat. And another with Steve Fromholtz.
Starting a family and life came up as it does sometimes, so I left the road and became "respectable". But kids have a way of growing up...childhood, unfortunately doesn't last forever.
Even spending 8 years as a professional photographer didn't seem to quench the thirst for being on a stage, so I've come back to it.
Again I'm back in front of people, and writing songs that I hope will make a difference for some. The world is still in need of help from all of us. It's a good place, let's not let it go to hell.
